What is included in the price of your services?TOP
Puppy Air Care takes several factors into consideration when determining pricing. In addition to the cost of a plane ticket for your Puppy Nanny and the pet fee for your puppy, our prices also include the cost of food, water, a toy, a blanket, and a regulation soft-sided pet carrier – all yours to keep.
Airline ticket prices vary greatly, depending on the airline, season, day of the week, how far in advance the ticket is purchased, and many other factors. We keep these factors in mind when comparing flights to ensure we book the lowest fare possible. For a free, no-obligation quote, please complete the Request a Quote form.
What forms of payment do you accept?TOP At this time, we only accept payment via credit cards, including Visa and MasterCard. Sorry, but we do not accept cash, money orders, or checks.
Do you transport puppies anywhere?TOP We transport puppies anywhere inside the continental U.S.
Do you transport any dog breed?TOP We transport any dog breed that is not restricted by the airline from traveling in the passenger cabin, as long as the puppy is small enough to fit in the standard carry-on sized pet carrier.
Do you transport adult dogs?TOP Although we specialize in puppy transportation, we will transport adult dogs as well, provided that they meet the airline’s size and weight requirements.
Do you transport other kinds of animals?TOP Not at this time.
Do you offer any guarantees with your service?TOP We are responsible for the safe handling and transport of the dogs we deliver. If your puppy suffers a permanent, significant injury or dies while in our care (except when caused by a pre-existing condition), Puppy Air Care will fully refund our delivery fee and compensate you for the dog (up to the maximum amount stated in our contract).
What happens if my puppy’s flight gets cancelled?TOP If your puppy’s flight gets cancelled, Puppy Air Care will reschedule for the next available flight at no extra charge to you.
Do your Puppy Nannies have any special qualifications?TOP Yes. Because puppies are delicate, it is important that our Puppy Nannies know how to respond with the proper care. All of our Puppy Nannies have a background in dog care, such as veterinary technicians, dog trainers, veterinary students, longtime animal shelter volunteers, and dog sitters. In addition, all Puppy Nannies must have completed a rigorous screening and interview process along with an extensive background check.
How much is the referral fee for breeders?TOP If you are interested in taking part in our Breeder Referral Program, please contact us. We would be delighted to send you a breeder’s contract, which details the terms and conditions of our partnership with you.
Do I have to have any special training or qualifications to become a Puppy Nanny?TOP We require all of our Puppy Nannies to have a background in animal care. Experience as a veterinary technician, dog trainer, veterinary student, animal shelter volunteer, dog sitter, or similar occupation is necessary. Because puppies are especially vulnerable, it is important that our Puppy Nannies know how to respond with the proper care. (Please note that this position requires more than a general love of dogs.) In addition, all potential Puppy Nannies must complete a rigorous screening and interview process along with an extensive background check.
How can I become a Puppy Nanny?TOP If you have a background in animal care, please visit our employment page and fill out the Puppy Nanny Application form to be considered for a position as a Puppy Nanny.
